This professional two week program introduces campers to the theatre production and performance process. Daily drama classes & rehearsals utilize improvisation, theatre games, singing, dancing, poetry and visual arts. The session culminates with an original show, created and performed by the campers on Friday, June 14.
ART Station has received the 2000 Abby Award for Excellence in Arts Education awarded by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce
and was named “Best Arts Instruction for Children” by Atlanta Magazine.

The ART Station Teen Performance Company provides students with the necessary theatre skills to create a performance in just 5 days. Working with ART Station’s new performance company director, students will use improvisation and theatre exercises to develop a new play in the ART Station theater.

Writer’s Intensive

The ART Station Teen Writing Intensive Program provides students with both reading and writing assignments designed to develop writing skills necessary to pursue careers in fiction, play-writing and/or screenwriting. Working with both in-class and homework exercising to be shared, projects will be redefined and re-worked to provide a framework for future endeavors. Teens will spend part of the day working on their projects and part of the day critiquing and brainstorming to enhance creativity and critical thinking.
